 Sponsor Opportunities for BVPA’s Symposium


The BVPA River Symposium planning committee has been working diligently over 
the past two years to bring our watershed community a fresh and exciting theme with presentations from vibrant speakers who are using innovative ways to deal with the water challenges we continue to face in Louisiana and within the Teche-Vermilion Watershed.  

This year’s symposium,  Innovation on the Bayou: Harnessing New Ideas for Watershed Improvement, will be held on 

 
March 31st at the LITE Center on Cajundome Boulevard.

Every year BVPA contributes time and resources to educating our watershed community and advocating the use of the Vermilion River.  During a typical year, BVPA hosts and organizes the following events and contests:  
  • Reviving Resilient Landscapes Workshops throughout the Vermilion/Teche Watershed
  • Parish-wide Litter Poster Contest in Elementary and Middle Schools
  • Annual State of the River Meeting
  • Storm Drain Art Contest
  • TRAIL Partnership
  • Parish-wide Rain Barrel Art Contest in schools
  • Annual River Symposium
  • Supports our Partners in Preservation with their missions
  • Hosts and organizes a quarterly meeting for the Vermilion River Alliance
  • Posts educational content on our website and social media outlets

We invite you to participate through the following symposium sponsor opportunities:

Visionary Sponsor - $1000
  • Corporate membership in the Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association
  • Listing as Presenting Sponsor on BVPA website and will be retained for at least eight months
  • Listing as Presenting Sponsor on the BVPA Facebook page for at least eight months
  • Five tickets to attend the 2021 Symposium
  • BVPA T-Shirt

Presenting Sponsor - $500
  • Corporate membership in the Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association
